August 12's Stated Communication included a rare treat--Weatherman Bill Evans, of Station ABC, visited Union Lodge No. 5 to talk about his life, his work, and weather.  Bill's talk was lively, engaging, and was received warmly and enthusiastically by a welcoming crowd of lodge brothers who learned more about the inside workings of the weather industry than can be imagined!  Bill has also written several novels with weather figuring in as a main plot device, of course--with one already having been purchased by Sony Entertainment with a potential movie in the works.  Everyone had a great time, and much appreciation is due to Worshipful Master Ken Robertson for arranging such an interesting evening!
