The Essentials of Our Investigation Presentation given to Union Lodge No. 5

The May 18 Stated Communication at Union Lodge No. 5 featured a presentation on The Essentials of Our Investigation.  Brother Senior Warden Tom Burke had seen this presentation, which was originally created by Worshipful Brother Ken Greenhill, at the 2010 Warden’s Seminar and a second time at a District 1 Blue Lodge Council Meeting in early 2011.  As Most Worshipful Grand Master James T. McWain had suggested to the brothers in attendance at that meeting, Brother Burke contacted WB Greenhill to obtain a copy of the presentation, and requested permission from Worshipful Master Jon Ringel to present it as part of the lodge’s Education Program.

Several brothers commented on their experiences with investigations, with many questions and specific points discussed, adding clarity and further promoting knowledge of the process.  Copies of the presentation were distributed to interested brothers.  Most significantly, everyone in attendance learned how important their role is in Investigations, from Recommender to Avoucher, from Committee to Ballot.
